Partnerize vs impact.com for Enterprise Partner Programs.

Both are enterprise partnership platforms with global payments, fraud tools and service teams. They differ in how they price, how much of the program they will run for you, and where their partner networks are strongest. Here is how to choose on fit.

In Partnerize vs impact.com, Partnerize tends to fit global enterprise brands that want the platform, payments, fraud monitoring and optional program management from one vendor on a negotiated contract. impact.com tends to fit enterprise brands that run affiliates, creators, customer referrals and B2B partners side by side and want a large self-serve partner marketplace with an in-house team or agency running it. Both are capable enterprise platforms, so the choice usually turns on pricing model, service needs and where your partners already are.

This guide is for affiliate, partnerships and ecommerce leads at brands with programs large enough to need enterprise contracts, multiple regions or multiple currencies. We run affiliate programs for brands and we also publish on these networks as a partner, so we see how each platform works from both the brand dashboard and the partner side. Vendor facts below were checked on official pages as of November 2026.

Platform capabilities.

Partnerize organizes its platform into modules it names Discover, Track, Manage, Measure, Pay, Protect and Integrations, and it describes "Enterprise-grade technology and expert services" on its homepage. It acquired brand compliance company BrandVerity and the Pepperjam affiliate network in 2020, and the former Pepperjam network now operates as Ascend by Partnerize. Partnerize also markets VantagePoint, a product for measuring influence from AI-mediated shopping.

impact.com sells a partnership platform covering affiliate, influencer and creator, referral (Advocate) and retail media programs. Its homepage says brands can find partners "from 250K+ partners" and cites 6,500+ brands on the platform. Its Enterprise plan adds fully custom implementations, a white-labeled partner portal, advanced fraud and risk scoring, multi-touch attribution and a dedicated partnership team.

On paper the feature lists overlap heavily. The differences show up in daily use. Ask each vendor to run a live demo on your own scenarios: a partner paid different rates by product category, a coupon partner limited to new customers, a return that reverses a commission after 30 days, and a report that splits partner revenue by region and currency. Ask how attribution works when two partners touch the same order, since impact.com lists multi-touch attribution on Enterprise and Partnerize positions VantagePoint for AI-driven shopping journeys. Have your finance and legal teams sit in on the payments and compliance sections, because those are the parts enterprise teams most often discover too late.

Pricing models and what is public.

Neither vendor publishes an enterprise price, but impact.com publishes everything below Enterprise and Partnerize publishes nothing. That difference matters for budgeting and for negotiating.

Partnerize. Its pricing page lists two structures: a "Fixed license fee" or a "Percentage-based fee." It says pricing is "all inclusive," with no overage penalties when a program outperforms and no extra fees for integrations. Price depends on whether you run one campaign or many, single region or global, the number of currencies and the service level. There is no list price, and we did not find a reliable third-party figure for Partnerize contracts as of November 2026, so treat any number you hear as a starting point for negotiation.

impact.com. Its pricing page lists Starter from $30 a month, Essentials at $500 a month, Pro at $2,500 a month for brands with $2M to $15M a year in ecommerce revenue, and Enterprise at custom pricing for $15M+ or multi-channel operations. All plans require a 12-month contract, and setup for Essentials and above is billed at $250 an hour. Payouts above the included volume are billed based on payout volume. Our guide to impact.com pricing breaks down each plan.

Managed services and who runs the program.

The biggest practical difference between the two is how much of the program the vendor will run. Partnerize offers service levels it describes as "Full program management," "In-house" or "Agency supported," and its services pages describe options from short-term subject matter experts to a single-vendor solution for brands with resource gaps, with experts in North America, EMEA, APAC and Japan.

impact.com's model leans on your team or an agency. Enterprise includes a dedicated partnership team, and impact.com runs a formal Agency Partner Program, launched in October 2022, for agencies that manage programs on the platform. If you already have an affiliate manager or an outsourced program manager, impact.com's service model is less of a gap. If you have nobody, Partnerize's managed option means one fewer vendor to hire.

Either way, the people running the program matter more than the platform. Our guides on outsourced program management and hiring an affiliate marketing agency cover how to judge that work.

Global payouts.

For a brand with partners in many countries, payments are a large part of the day-to-day work. Partnerize's Pay product says it "supports 60 currencies for partner payment and aggregates those rewards into a single invoice in your desired currency," covering 214 countries. It also offers to manage China's Fapiao tax prepayment system for brands paying partners there.

impact.com says it automates contracts and payouts in 70+ currencies. Its help center explains that in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia, an impact.com entity becomes the counterparty for partner payments, and partners who signed up after July 1, 2025 with billing addresses in affected countries use that method automatically. Ask your finance team how either model affects VAT, invoicing and how payments show up in your books.

Fraud and compliance.

Enterprise programs attract trademark bidding, coupon leakage, cookie stuffing and fake leads. Partnerize's Protect is powered by BrandVerity and covers fraud signals from shifts in program metrics, automated web compliance checks and worldwide paid search monitoring for trademark misuse, with automatic infringement notices. impact.com includes advanced fraud and risk scoring on Enterprise and sells Brand Safety Tools as an add-on on Essentials and Enterprise.

Disclosure is part of compliance too. The brand can be held responsible for what partners publish, and the FTC's guidance to affiliates is direct:

“"You should disclose your relationship to the retailer clearly and conspicuously on your site." FTC, Endorsement Guides: What People Are Asking”

Write disclosure rules into partner terms and check them on either platform. The FTC's FAQ also says the closer the disclosure is to the recommendation, the better. In regulated categories such as finance or pharmaceuticals, ask both vendors how they monitor partner content, not just links.

Migrating between Partnerize and impact.com.

Brands move in both directions. The risk is the same: commission revenue drops while partners re-join, and tracking gaps cause disputes. impact.com's help center on migrating a program advises checking your current contract for clauses that could prevent migration, keeping payments to partners current on the old platform, and notifying partners early, and it describes the migration as completed within 6 to 8 weeks with an onboarding migration specialist. Partnerize says its onboarding team aims to get clients started in 15 days or less, which covers setup rather than full partner migration.

Read the exit terms.
Check notice periods, auto-renewal dates and data export rights on the current contract. Line the move up with the renewal date.
Rank partners by revenue.
Export twelve months of partner performance. Your top 20 to 50 partners usually drive most of the revenue, so they get personal outreach and help with new links.
Rebuild tracking and test it.
Install the new tag or server-side integration, pass the click ID through to your order or CRM system, and test conversions end to end. Our guide to postback URL setup covers server-side tracking.
Copy terms and codes.
Recreate commission groups, exclusive rates and coupon codes on the new platform so partners do not see a pay cut for switching.
Run both platforms in parallel.
Keep the old tracking live until most top-tier partners have moved. Shutting it off early is the most common cause of lost commissions and partner complaints.
Settle and close.
Pay all outstanding commissions on the old platform, confirm final reversals and then close the account. Partners who are still owed money are slow to join the new program.

Mistakes agencies see enterprise brands make.

  • Choosing the platform before the operating model. Decide who runs the program, in-house, agency or vendor, before comparing features.
  • Signing a percentage fee without modeling growth. A percentage that looks cheap at current volume can cost far more if the program doubles.
  • Migrating near peak season. A move in the weeks before a major retail period puts the highest-revenue partners at risk.
  • Treating fraud tools as set and forget. Alerts only help if someone reviews them and enforces terms every week.
  • Paying on gross sales. Without returns and cancellations feeding back into the platform, you pay commission on revenue you did not keep.
  • Letting partner terms go stale. Rates, exclusions and disclosure rules should be reviewed at least once a year.

What to measure.

  • Net partner revenue after returns and cancellations, by partner type and region.
  • Total cost of the program as a percentage of net partner revenue, including platform fees, commissions, bonuses and management.
  • New customer share from partners, since coupon and loyalty partners often credit existing customers.
  • Incrementality through holdout tests or overlap analysis with paid search and email.
  • Compliance incidents found and resolved per month, and time to resolution.
  • Payment timeliness, because late payments lose good partners faster than low rates.

When to bring in help.

Many enterprise teams run this evaluation themselves. Outside help is worth it when a migration needs project management, when partner recruitment has stalled, or when nobody can tie partner revenue to net sales. Theory Road runs affiliate and partnership programs on both platforms, and because we also publish as a partner, we can tell you which terms and payment habits keep partners active.
